{"id":1620,"date":"2017-05-25T09:33:41","date_gmt":"2017-05-24T23:33:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.socialstatus.io\/?p=1620"},"modified":"2022-09-07T23:10:39","modified_gmt":"2022-09-07T13:10:39","slug":"snapchat-introduces-custom-stories-limitless-snaps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.socialstatus.io\/snapchat-introduces-custom-stories-limitless-snaps\/","title":{"rendered":"Snapchat Introduces Custom Stories and Limitless Snaps"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Snapchat launched &#8216;Custom Stories&#8217; this week, pulling out all the stops with a Victoria&#8217;s Secret Angels packed campaign.<\/h5>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ohN8cv7nUmA?rel=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center><center><\/center><center><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The new feature allows users to share Snapchats in stories where the audience can be specifically selected. The new feature also follows a similar path to the new Instagram update, where users are also able to create stories for specific locations.<\/p>\n<p>The feature is a natural progression from Snapchat&#8217;s geofilters. The new feature creates a 1-block geofence around your current location, with those stories only able to be seen and contributed to, by the people you select.<\/p>\n<p>In an attempt to differentiate its product offering from the likes of copycats, Snapchat also launched an infinity loop tool, that allows users to &#8220;enjoy your Snap as long as they&#8217;d like&#8221; &#8211; Snapchat.<\/p>\n<p>The interface has also experienced some upgrades, with the addition of the new &#8216;magic eraser&#8217; to the creative tools.<\/p>\n<p>These new feature come as rival Instagram launches a multitude of new features this month, and experienced significant growth in terms of Instagram Story users.
